Relationships First. Opportunities Follow.
Whether you're actively searching, casually exploring, or simply curious about what's happening in the San Diego job market, we'd love to get to know you. San Diego Coastal Talent connects professionals with career opportunities through personalized recruiting, local relationships, and a growing network of San Diego businesses.
Some of the best career moves happen long before someone decides it's time for a new opportunity. By understanding your experience, goals, strengths, and what you're looking for in your next role, we can keep you in mind when the right opportunity comes along.
Our goal isn't to convince you to leave your current employer. It's to help ensure that if the right opportunity appears, you hear about it.
How Coastal Talent Works
Introduce Yourself
After you introduce yourself, we'll review your information. When there's alignment with the professionals and opportunities we support, we'll schedule a conversation to learn more about your experience, career goals, interests, compensation expectations, and what would make your next move worthwhile.
We’ll Keep You in Mind
Many professionals in our network aren't actively job searching. As we learn about current and future hiring needs, we keep our network in mind—including for opportunities that may not yet be publicly posted.
Confidential Representation
Your privacy is important.
We do not send your resume to employers without your permission.
When appropriate, we may share a confidential summary of your experience with a hiring leader to determine whether there is mutual interest.
If the company would like to learn more, we'll discuss the opportunity with you first. Only if you choose to move forward would your resume be shared.
We’ll Guide the Process
We’ll help throughout the process by providing:
Information about the company and position
Interview preparation
Feedback after interviews
Offer guidance
Ongoing communication from beginning to end
How We Can Work Together
Finding the right opportunity is a partnership.
If we work together on an opportunity, we ask that you:
Treat every employer with professionalism and respect
Respond to calls, texts, or emails in a timely manner
Set aside time for interviews when opportunities arise
Keep us informed of competing interviews or offers that may affect the hiring process
Let us know immediately if you decide to withdraw from a process
Building trust and having clear communication allows us to advocate for you effectively.

San Diego Coastal Talent is not a traditional headhunter or job placement service. My role is to build relationships with professionals, understand your experience, career goals, and preferences, and connect you with opportunities when there is a strong fit.
You are never obligated to pursue an opportunity I share. If a position isn’t right for you, that’s perfectly fine. We’ll continue getting to know your preferences and keep you in mind for future opportunities that may be a better fit.

While we take reasonable steps to protect your privacy throughout the process, we cannot guarantee complete confidentiality once information is shared with a prospective employer or references are contacted.
